Getting involved and making memories
We all have favorite things we look forward to each and every year - from festivals to parades and other celebrations. Places and people we can't wait to see again. That's why AmeriServ sponsors hometown events that bring our community together.
AmeriServ Flood City Music Festival
The roots of the festival date back over 30 years to 1989, and our formal sponsorship began in 1994. Since 2012, the festival has been held at Peoples Natural Gas Park in downtown Johnstown, usually around the first weekend in August. Some of the major artists to play the festival include:

Summer Concert Series @ Roxbury Bandshell
AmeriServ's connection to local music is also reflected in our long-standing sponsorship of the Sunday Summer Concert Series held at the historic Roxbury Bandshell.
On Sunday afternoons between Memorial Day and Labor Day, the lawn in front of the bandshell is full of neighbors and friends enjoying the free concerts played by local bands.
Moneyman Scavenger Hunt
Since 2020, the mysterious Moneyman has been providing excitement to Johnstown and surrounding communities with his scavenger hunts and mini-games. AmeriServ has been proud to help sponsor the annual hunt for Moneyman that offers a $10,000 grand prize. Check him out on social media (Facebook / Instagram / Twitter).
