Update your email address.

Over the next several months, you will receive communications by email and mail with updates and any actions you may need to take. It’s important that we have the best email on record to keep you informed.

Your new AmeriServ Bank experience is expected to begin in September 2026.

There are a few things you can do to prepare for your new AmeriServ Bank experience:
  • Contact your financial advisor with questions - they are the best resource
  • Check this FAQ page often
  • Look out for future email communications 

  • Throughout and after this transition, your relationship with your financial advisor will remain the same, they will be in the same office continuing to provide the personalized service that you have come to know and expect. 
  • The same is true for any other relationships you may have with AmeriServ Bank – your relationships, contacts and accounts will not change.
  • If at any time you have questions, you can reach out to your financial advisor. As always, they are happy to help.

  • Your financial advisor remains the same before, during, and after this change; they are here to help you complete any transition actions and answer questions. 
  • You can also contact the AmeriServ Bank customer service line at 1-800-837-BANK (2265).

  • Leading up to the transition and after, you may receive communications from AmeriServ Bank or your financial advisor.
  • After the transition date, you will begin receiving communications from Ameriprise Financial via mail or email. Please take a moment to read through when you receive them.

  • At the end of the month we transition to Ameriprise Financial, you’ll receive two statements at month-end from both LPL Financial and Ameriprise Financial.
  • You’ll also receive a year-end statement from both LPL Financial and Ameriprise Financial.

Yes. While your account number will change, the structure of your relationship will remain the same. Your financial advisor will be able to help explain your new account numbering should you have any further questions.

No, your other accounts, such as your banking or savings account, will not be impacted.

Standing bank instructions will not transfer to Ameriprise Financial. Starting September 14, 2026, you can work with your financial advisor to sign required forms to update your ACH instructions on file.

The secure site provides a consolidated view of a client’s Ameriprise Financial accounts and allows clients to track progress toward their goals, view their portfolio and securely collaborate with their financial advisor. It offers access to online trading, including convenient market data snapshots, expert research, quotes and company information.
