If you are an account holder affected by changes due to the system update, you should have received a separate letter detailing the changes to your account(s).

Information on changes to our Transaction Posting Order can be found here and will be included in statements for May, 2026.

Statement Changes

The system update provides you with a more modern and easier-to-read statement for your accounts. However, there are a few things you should keep in mind regarding your statement(s):

  • Your last statement(s) from our previous core system was generated the night of June 18, 2026, and delivered via your chosen method.
  • Your statement cycle (the date your statement is generated and delivered) may change as a result of the update.
  • If your statement cycle changes and you wish for your statement(s) to be provided on a different date, you may visit a local branch for assistance.

Mobile Banking App

We are excited to share that our system update will also allow us to launch a new Mobile Banking App, (Version 6.0) with new features and functions you’ve been asking for, such as:

  • Improved look and feel
  • Ability to complete password updates on the app
  • Access to controls for debit card management and security

If you have automatic updates enabled on your smartphone, the new mobile app will be downloaded to your device once it is available in the applicable app store. If you typically update your apps manually, you will need to download and install it when you’re ready.

Yes. AmeriServ account number(s) will remain the same for all deposit and lending products you have with us.

No. Since your account number(s) are not changing, all current direct deposits or automatic payment drafts will continue to be processed normally and without interruption.

Online and Mobile Banking will be unavailable during the weekend of June 19-21. If you have pending Bill Pay transactions, they will be processed as expected. When logging in for the first time after the update, you may be prompted to re-confirm your device using Multi-Factor Authentication.

Yes. Your current debit card will remain active and usable throughout our system update.

Certificate of Deposit (CD) accounts and loan accounts will not be visible in online or mobile banking on June 22, 2026. Visibility for these accounts will be restored on June 23, 2026.
