Tell Me More

We know that banks don't normally produce content like podcasts, but we recognized a need in our world for financial education that didn't bore people to tears. According to the FDIC, more than 95% of U.S. households were banked in 2021, meaning that only 4.5% of U.S. households lacked a bank or credit union account. That was the lowest rate since the FDIC survey began in 2009. But, despite so many Americans using banks and credit unions, we still talk with customers and neighbors every day who don't completely understand some of the financial terms, account types, or services that financial institutions offer. So, we decided to help.

Our guests on the show are professionals and experts in their various fields. Some of our guests are employees of AmeriServ Financial, Inc., while others are invited to participate from colleges, universities, and other walks of life. We do our best to find folks who are great at what they do and who are interesting to talk to. We feel that, if you're going to spend time with us, you should feel entertained as well as educated.

You can start listening right here on our website, using the embedded player on the episode pages. You can also find the podcast on your preferred streaming service by clicking on the icon of your favorite on any episode page.

The beginning of course! Our first episode was released at the end of September 2023 - so it won't take you long to catch up. However, the episodes are self-contained so you can pick and choose the topics that most interest you without feeling like you might be missing any important information.

Right now, the best way you can support the show is by listening. We'd also love it if you'd follow the show by clicking the appropriate button in your preferred podcast app. And, sharing the podcast with your family, friends, and neighbors is always greatly appreciated.
