Vice President / Human Resources Officer

AmeriServ Financial Bank is a growing $1.3 billion Community Bank looking for a qualified candidate to fill the senior human resources position within the company. This position is based out of our headquarters in Johnstown, PA and will take over the management of our HR division and provide effective leadership for the current staff.

Key responsibilities include planning and leading the execution of our Employee/Labor relations and employment functions, managing and negotiating all Health and Welfare programs of the company, managing the recruitment programs for both exempt and non-exempt personnel, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations affecting employment practices. Also, you will become a member of the company’s senior management team and serve as department representative before the Board of Directors and all related committees.

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree and/or a master’s degree in Human Resources Management with a concentration in labor relations and at least ten years experience in human resources management and labor relations. Senior professional human resources experience and advanced human resource related degrees are preferred. In exchange for your expertise, we offer the following:
